The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Saloon of Arts and Culture in Amman observed “Kashmir Black Day” at the premises of the University of Jordan Alumni Club.
The keynote speakers on the occassion included H.E. Lt. Gen (Retd) Shafaat Ullah Shah ( Ambassador of Pakistan), H.E. Fakhri Abu Taleb ( President Pakistan Jordan Friendship Association), Dr. Zaid Ahmed Al Muheisan (President Pakistan Graduates Club), Mr. Omer Al Armouti ( President Saloon of Arts and Culture) and Mr. Abdul Rahman Mubeideen ( a local poet).
At the occasion, brochures on Kashmir showing atrocities of Indian Occupied Forces and pictures relating Indian brutalities were also displayed. At the end, a video documentary showing the recent atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) was also played.
The event was attended by Mrs. Taghreed Hikmat Member of Senate, Mrs. Saleh Al Armouti Member of National Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Al Ayed and Mr. Fawaz (ex members of Jordanian Parliament), former Ambassadors, members of Pakistan Jordan Friendship Association, Pakistan Graduates Club, Academicians, Writers, Media and students.
